About Me

Non-jargony: I use satellite data to help address environmental issues.

Jargony: I'm a geospatial analyst who likes to work where research, policy-making, and community-outreach overlap. I rely on remote sensing to help fill the environmental data gaps. I enjoy empowering  local stakeholders with decision support tools that allow them to make data driven decisions about their environmental management and policies. My career has focused on bridging environmental research and policy through capacity building and by facilitating interdisciplinary collaborations.

I have been with the  NASA DEVELOP National Program since 2010 and I am pursuing my PhD in Integrative Conservation and Geography at the University of Georgia and will defend my dissertation in October. I joined Project Consulting Services, Inc. on June 2015 where I am part of their GIS and business development teams.
